Private swimming lessons at your condo or landed property
Learn to swim in the pool you already know, with a coach who comes to you. AquaChamps teaches toddlers, children and adults across Singapore — from first water confidence through to stroke work. Every lesson is structured around safety, paced to the individual swimmer, and built to be something they look forward to.
Meet the Team
Every AquaChamps coach is AUSTSWIM-certified and trained in CPR and AED. We keep the team small on purpose — your child works with the same familiar coach each week rather than whoever is rostered on, and that coach knows exactly where they left off.
Lessons are built around individual progress. A nervous four-year-old and a nine-year-old refining their freestyle need different things, and neither is served by a fixed syllabus. We start where your child actually is, move at their pace, and keep it enjoyable enough that they want to come back.

Founder/ Coach
Dennis
Dennis founded AquaChamps in 2015 and still coaches every week. He's an AUSTSWIM-certified teacher and assessor — meaning he's qualified to certify other coaches, not just to teach — and holds CPR and AED certification. Twelve years in, his focus is learn-to-swim and stroke correction, and he's spent most of that time with children who arrived nervous about the water.
At home he's a father to a three-year-old, which he says has taught him more about a toddler's first weeks in a pool than any course did.

Co-Founder/ Coach
Shawn
Shawn is AUSTSWIM-certified with CPR and AED training, and has been coaching for over five years. He teaches both children and adults, and is the coach parents tend to request for a child who's genuinely afraid of the water — he works slowly, without pressure, and doesn't rush the first few sessions.
Away from the pool he cycles and games.

Coach
Ziyang
Zi Yang is a senior coach, AUSTSWIM-certified with CPR and AED training, and has taught for over five years. He swam competitively for Ngee Ann Polytechnic and medalled for them, which is where his eye for technique comes from — he's the coach to ask for if your child can already swim and you want the strokes properly built rather than merely functional.

Coach
Joel
Joel coaches full-time, which makes him the most flexible member of the team — weekday mornings and afternoons included, not just the evening and weekend slots most families compete for. Three years in, and a father to a three-year-old himself, he's at his best with young children who need the lesson to feel like play before it can feel like learning. He's also Coach Shawn's older brother.
